Courage Center Seeks Award Nominations
Annual Award Spotlights Individuals Who Have Helped People with Disabilities

The Courage Center, a rehabilitation and resource center headquartered in Minneapolis, is seeking nominations for its 2010 Courage Award.
The award recognizes a person's contributions to the health, welfare and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, the organization said. Former winners include Sen. Max Cleland, Michael Gravers, Christopher Reeve and - in 2009 - Jordan Thomas, a college student who, after losing both legs in a boating accident, created a self-named organization to help children with traumatic injuries.
Submit your suggestions by Feb. 6 to the Courage Center at couragecenter.org/natlcourageaward. The organization specializes in treating children and adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and stroke, among other conditions.
