Power Front Load System

Created to improve a wheelchair user’s accessibility to the environment – and to make transfers easier – 21st Century Scientific’s Power Front Load System lowers and moves the H-Frame Power Wheelchair’s seat to the front of the chair to reduce seat-to-floor height. The system can be combined with a 13” power seat elevator and/or a 50-degree power tilt for additional positioning options.

Designed for wheelchair users who need more postural support than a sling back can provide, this new VARILITE system also supports the needs of suppliers who require an easy-to-install, highly adjustable system. Increase posterior seat depth or decrease anterior seat depth by simply reversing the hardware. The backs provide up to 20 degrees of recline. Each system includes an adjustable airfoam cushion with multi-stiffness foam. Available in four styles (Low, Mid, Tall, Deep) in sizes ranging from 12” to 24” wide.
